About the Founder

Welcome!  I’m Caitlin, the founder of Lark & Rue.  The origins of Lark & Rue start in my childhood.  I have suffered from dry, sensitive skin for as long as I can remember.  I’ve seen countless doctor without much help beyond use gentle soap and find a lotion that works for you.  Well, none of them worked and always left my skin feeling tight, dry, and ITCHY!

All of that changed when I took a soap making class at my local garden center and tried a sample of handmade soap.  That soap sample changed my life in the best way possible!

My hope is that Lark & Rue provide that same life changing experience for you.
